My top 10 INSPIRATIONAL/MOTIVATIONAL
SONGS
Whether I’m down on the dumps, having lack of motivation,
facing an interview, a big test, an event, or perhaps meeting someone that I’ve
been intimidated of, I’ve always put on my earphones and listen to these songs,
and soon, all of my nervousness, my doubtfulness, hesitations, and worries disappeared
into thin air. The only question here is, what are these songs that I listened
to?
1. “Wings”
by Little Mix – This is by far my most favorable motivational song,
the lyric goes “Mama told me not to
waste my life, she said spread your wings my little butterfly, don’t let what
they say keep you up at night, and if they give you sh**, then they can walk on
by..” I like the message given out from this song, it made me believe in myself more and not care so much about what others have to say. Like what Marilyn Monroe had quoted below :

“Shut Up” by Simple Plan – This is an old song
but still, the lyrics are so inspiring. I always put on this song whenever
someone pisses me off or tell me that I can’t achieve something. I personally
think that no one could ever make ourselves feel unworthy of something. The
lyric goes “Shut Up, Shut Up, Shut Up,
Don’t wanna hear you, Get Out, Get Out, Get Out, Get out of my way, Step Up,
Step Up, Step Up, You’ll never stop me, Nothing you say today is gonna bring me
down!”

“Watch Me Shine” by Joanna Pacitti – I found this song while I was watching Legally
Blonde in a part where Elle stood up and studied harder to prove that she too,
could make a successful lawyer out of herself despite her witty, fun,
fashionable personality. I always, like always, listen to this song right
before making a presentation in class, nor before taking a test. I guess this
song reminds me to give out my best, and to be on top. Well, because the lyric
goes “Better watch out, Going for the
knockout, And I won’t stop till I’m on top now, Not gonna give up until I get
what’s mine..”
“One Girl Revolution” by Superchic(k) – Similar as the song above, I found this song on
Legally Blonde as well. The chorus goes “..And
I’ll be everything that I want to be, I am confidence in insecurity, I am a
voice yet waiting to be heard, I’ll shoot the shot bang that you hear round the
world, I’m a one girl revolution..”. Go on and listen to this song, it
will surely boost up your confidence level ;)
“Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera – This is also an old song but hey, I am beautiful no matter what they say,
those words can’t bring me down. We should all be reminded daily of how
beautiful and amazing we are despite what anybody thinks. We are born as unique
individuals and there’s nothing to be ashamed nor embarrassed of.
“Dark Horse” by Katy Perry – To be frankly honest here, I truly love Katy
Perry’s songs. This is not the only inspirational song that had been sung by
her. Her song “Fireworks”, “Wide Awake”, and “Part of Me” are very inspirational
as well. But, I prefer this song when I’m out in a crowd and the song would go “I knew you were, you were gonna come to
me, And here you are, But you better choose carefully, Cause I’m capable of
anything, of anything and everything..” and I’d feel so confident and
amazing and that I’m so awesome that I’m unstoppable ;)
“Pump It” by Black Eyed Peas – Well, I’m pretty sure most of us here know this
song. It’s so energetic and a great song to be danced to.
“King of Anything” by Sara Bareilles – “Who
cares if you disagree? You are not me, who made you king of anything? So you
dare tell me who to be? Who died and made you king of anything?”. I
love listening to this song so much when someone criticizes me or tell me that
I wasn’t enough. I wasn’t asking for anyone’s opinion on how I deal with my
life. It’s clear that my life is much more interesting than theirs, that’s why
they were so interested in knowing what’s going on in my life. Muahahaha :*
“Pretty Girl Rock” by Keri Hilson – “All
eyes on me when I walk in, No question that this girl’s a 10, Don’t hate me
cause I’m beautiful, Don’t hate me cause I’m beautiful, My walk, My talk, the
way I dress, It’s not my fault so please don’t trip, Don’t hate me cause I’m
beautiful..” It is okay to feel good about ourselves once in a while. I’m
not perfect but hey, I deserve to feel beautiful too J
“Man Eater” by Nelly Furtado – The title says it all.
So, basically, that is among the top 10 songs that
I’d listen to whenever I need to boost my self-esteem. What are among your

As you can see, it has been a loooooong time since
I last updated this horrible, old blog of mine. So, I decided to spice things
up a bit. I’ll now add more “segments”

fitness (I’m still kinda chubby), love and life. Not only that, I’ll
also add REVIEWS on the books, makeups, skin cares and anything that I’ve used over the
